The Legal Affairs Office is responsible for the following:
Preparing legal memoranda and providing advice on referred matters.
Preparing and drafting regulations and decisions related to the Ministry's activities.
Preparing correspondence, reports, and draft decisions issued with the Minister's directives.
Studying contracts and agreements the Ministry intends to conclude from a legal perspective.
Preparing and reviewing the legal conditions for tenders, practices, and contract assignment orders, as well as related legal documents and records.
Preparing draft contracts and agreements concluded by the Ministry with third parties, including any amending agreements, and approving the final wording.
Following up on cases filed for or against the Ministry and preparing legal memoranda regarding them in coordination with the Case Management Department and relevant entities.
Monitoring the issuance of local and international laws, regulations, and decisions related to the Ministry's activities.
Participating in forming investigation committees and any other committees that require a legal member to carry out the assigned tasks.
Stamping, registering, and referring decisions, as well as circulating them to the relevant entities and following up on their implementation.
Providing legal references, studies, and applicable legislation, and referring them to the offices and departments for implementation.
Preparing periodic reports on the work of the office.
Any other tasks assigned in accordance with the applicable legislation.
