The Office of Technical and International Cooperation is responsible for communicating and coordinating with international governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions to attempt to conclude cooperation agreements for the purpose of benefiting from experiences, expertise, research programs, as well as logistical capabilities such as laboratories, workshops, and advanced teaching methods to develop curricula and training plans and provide advanced laboratories and workshops in the fields of technical education and vocational training. The Office of Technical and International Cooperation works in coordination with the relevant departments in the Ministry and in accordance with the plans in effect in the Ministry to identify the scientific needs and logistical requirements of technical colleges, higher technical institutes, and intermediate technical institutes to present them to international institutions to discuss means of cooperation and conclude international agreements. The Office follows up and reviews international agreements and memoranda of understanding concluded and coordinates attendance at international forums and workshops, as well as holding meetings with international organizations and following up on the procedures related to them.
